Off leash dog hikes
Payment
Is due at the beginning of the month for services to be rendered during said month.
Types of payments accepted: e - transfer, cheque, cash or credit card
Cancellations
For any hikes a cancellation needs to be made 2 weeks in advance to qualify for a refund. No refund will be given to cancellations under 2 weeks.
If Playful Paws needs to cancel a hike due to unforeseen circumstances a refund will be given for missed walks or we will do our best to reschedule.
Health
All dogs must show proof that they are up to date on their vaccinations, especially Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough)
Titre tests are acceptable.
Please ensure your dog is on a flea, worm and tick prevention program. A tick inspection is done on every dog after each hike but we cannot guarantee parasite control.
Trial
All dogs will have a trial hike to determine eligibility for further hikes. During this trial the dog will stay on a 15-30 ft leash to ensure a strong recall is in place. Some dogs may need to stay on a long line for a few hikes before being let off. This is to ensure that a recall has been established. If we determine that a dog does not have a strong enough recall we reserve the right to deem them not eligible for our off leash service.
Spay/Neuter
Dogsmust be spayed and neutered.
Minimum age for off leash hikes is 6 months.
In home boarding
Payment
Payment is due upon pick up unless it was pre paid for.
A 50% deposit is due at time the of booking for dates more then 2+ months away.
Cancellations
A deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is less then 2 weeks before reserved dates.
We do everything in our power to prevent us from having to cancel a reservation but if the unforeseen happens we will fully refund any monies paid. We will also do everything in our power to find alternative care for you dog(s).
Health

I do reserve the right to in the name of safety decide that a dog is not suited for a boarding environment.
Trial
Any stays 2 weeks or longer will require a trial overnight stay to determine if they are suited to our particular boarding environment.
Spay/Neuter
Dogs must be spayed or neutered if over the age of 8 months.
Cat Sitting
Payment
Is due no later then 1 week after the last scheduled cat visit.
Playful Paws will not accept any dates where the visits are being shared between multiple people. In the case of housecleaners or work crews, clients must sign a waiver that states they are aware that the insurance coverage that is offered through Playful Paws may be void if the unforeseen should happen anytime during the scheduled visit dates.
Cancellations
Any cancellations made less then 1 week before scheduled visits will still be invoiced at full price.
Health
At least 2 - 15 minute visits are required for all cat visits.
Scheduled visits will be early morning and later evening, no midday visits are not available.
